ONX POLICIES + GUIDELINES
updated April 26, 2023
To best prepare for class, please read the below policies and guidelines so you know what we’re doing to keep our studios squeaky clean and what you can do to keep yourself healthy and our spaces safe.
ONX In Studio
GOOD TO KNOW:
A $10 late fee or forfeiture of a class for package holders will be assessed to all waitlisted, in studio class cancelations made within 2 hours of class start time.
Pre-registration is requested for all classes, and required for all Zoom classes. Please download our free smartphone app to easily register for class.
Safety + Cleanliness
Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities, every class. While we have always prided ourselves on maintaining an impeccably clean studio environment, we upped our game by using hospital-grade disinfectants on all floors and surfaces and sanitizing high-touch surfaces often throughout every shift.
Equipment: Although weights and equipment are provided for all students, students are welcome to bring their own weights to class if they choose. All used studio weights and equipment are sanitized after each class.
Clean shoes for Burnout + Cardio Dance: we ask that you bring a pair of shoes for these classes separate from those you wear to the studio.
Student Experience
In addition to in-studio safety + cleanliness procedures, please see the below in regards to information about in studio classes:
Illness: please do not attend class if you are ill.
Waitlists: please enable waitlist notifications to be notified when you’ve been admitted into class and to accept or decline your spot. Log into our student account in the top right corner of this screen and navigate to Personal Details on your profile. Under “Reminders and Schedule Changes” select “text”, and ensure your mobile number is current.
Check-in: please check in at the front desk upon arrival; the iPad will be unavailable.
Attendance Policies
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for all classes, and required for all Zoom classes. Students may pre-register using our branded ONX app or our website. Students must be signed up and paid for class ahead of time; students who have not paid for a Zoom class will not be admitted from the waiting room. Please take care when registering for class, as there is an in studio + separate Zoom registration for most of our weekly classes.
Late Cancelation Fee: a $10 late fee or forfeiture of a class for package holders will be assessed to all waitlisted, in studio class cancelations made within 2 hours of class start time.
ONX Outdoors (May/June - September)
Location
All ONX Outdoors class will take place in the ONX parking lot. The parking lot is marked off with cones in front of ONX; please place your mat on the concrete slab and avoid using any blacktop parking stalls.
Equipment
Please bring a yoga mat (we recommend placing a towel underneath your mat if you’re worried about the pavement). Weights are available for use, although we encourage students to bring their own if they are able (light, medium and/or heavy weights). We will give bodyweight options in every class.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, ONX Outdoors classes will be moved indoors into the ONX studio if it is not being used by another class. The 2 hour cancelation policy will not be enforced if an outdoor class must be held indoors.
Attendance Policies
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for all ONX Outdoors + in studio classes either online or on our app; students must be signed up and paid for class ahead of time.
Late Cancelation Fee: a $10 late fee or forfeiture of a class drop-in will be assessed to all waitlisted, in studio cancelations made within 2 hours of class start time; the exception to this rule is a cancelation of an ONX Outdoors class due to inclement weather, as we understand not all students are comfortable participating in an indoor class at this time.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
We does not permit harassment of any kind. Harassment is unwelcome verbal or non-verbal conduct that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward the person and has the purpose or effect of creating an environment that a reasonable person would consider intimidating, hostile, or abusive. Harassment includes epithets, slurs, name calling, negative stereotyping, insults, intimidation, ridicule, threatening, intimidating or hostile acts, denigrating jokes, and display in the workplace of written or graphic material that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual or group. Petty slights, annoyances, and isolated minor incidents may not rise to the level of harassment.
We do not tolerate sexual harassment of any kind. Sexual harassment refers to any unwelcome sexual attention, sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature when:
• Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for decisions affecting such individual;
• The advances have already been explicitly declined;
• Such conduct has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment.
Examples of sexual harassment include unwanted and unnecessary physical contact; offensive remarks (including unwelcome comments about appearance); obscene jokes or other inappropriate use of sexually offensive language; and unwelcome sexual advances. Non-physical gesture, behavior, unnecessary physical contact, verbal suggestion, or innuendo may constitute sexual harassment.
Offenders may be asked to leave the premises either temporarily or permanently at the sole discretion of management and/or ownership.
